This book is excellent for early literacy. The author kept her text simple and easy to follow. The ideas work well for parents or teachers of children who are at the early reading stage as well as for those who have mastered the alphabet and are beginning to read. I liked the sequential aspect of this book as well. I could see using this manual in any kindergarten class, but even more so for parents of young children who are either getting ready for, or entering kindergarten.
